Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Archon Unlimited LLC (“we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the Exodus Weather mobile app (“Exodus,” the “App”). By using the App you agree to this Policy.

Exodus has no user accounts — you do not create a login, and we do not collect your name, email address, or password.

Information we process

• Location. With your permission, the App uses your device’s GPS location to show weather for where you are. The coordinates of your current location and the locations you save are sent to our server so we can check for weather alerts in the background even when the App is closed; you can stop this by disabling notifications or turning off location permission. Location names and photos you add stay on your device. If you deny location permission, current-location features are disabled; the rest of the App still works.
• Push notification token. If you enable notifications, your device’s push token is stored on our server so we can deliver weather alerts. It is deleted when the service reports your app was uninstalled or notifications are disabled.
• Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by Apple/Google and managed through RevenueCat. We receive purchase status and an anonymous identifier — never your card number or full payment details.
• Diagnostics. We use Sentry to capture crash and error reports, which include technical details such as device model, OS version, and app state, to help us fix problems.
• Content you add. Location names/labels and any photos you attach to a location stay on your device; photos are not uploaded to our servers.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How we use information

To provide forecasts and severe-weather alerts, deliver notifications, process and restore subscriptions, and diagnose and fix crashes.

Service providers we share data with

To provide the App, limited data (such as coordinates or diagnostics) is shared with the providers below, each under their own privacy terms:

• Weather & environmental data: Open-Meteo, OpenWeather, NOAA/NWS, Google (Pollen API; Google Maps on Android), OpenRouteService (trip routing), Mapbox (radar basemap imagery).
• AI weather briefings: Anthropic (as our AI provider) receives weather data (not personal identifiers) to generate plain-language summaries.
• Infrastructure & operations: Expo (push delivery), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Sentry (diagnostics), Railway (server hosting).

We share coordinates with weather providers to retrieve forecasts. We do not send them your saved-location names or photos.

Data retention

Your current and saved locations and push tokens are retained while your app is installed and removed when you delete a location, disable notifications, revoke location permission, or the service detects the app was uninstalled. Diagnostics are retained per Sentry’s retention settings.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures (including encrypted transport) to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Exodus is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g., California/CCPA, EEA/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information. Because the App has no accounts, most data is stored on your device (delete the app to remove it) or tied to an anonymous identifier. To make a request, contact us at the address below.
